Reporting & Looker Studio with Dana DiTomaso

Ready to move from pre-packaged templated dashboards to individualized reports that actually answer your marketing questions? Learn how to build more effective reports using Looker Studio—starting with strategy, not just what buttons to click.

Why choose this workshop?

This workshop is broken into 4 sections, starting with reporting strategy before diving into the tool itself. We begin with question-driven report design principles, then cover Looker Studio fundamentals through hands-on building. Next, we do a deep-dive into data blending. Finally, we cover advanced features like calculated fields and parameters.

You’ll leave this workshop with practical hands-on knowledge in Looker Studio, plus an understanding of how to create reports that people will actually want to read and use to make decisions.

Requirements:

  • You must bring a laptop and have access to at least one GA4 property, one Google Search Console property, and ideally one Google Ads account. You cannot use the Google Demo GA4 property due to quota limits.
  • You don’t need any experience in Looker Studio, but you may want to bring a report or two that you want to improve.
  • The instructor will provide individualized advice, depending on time.

Who should attend this workshop?

This workshop is for anyone who needs to create reports for their job and isn’t happy with how they are creating those reports right now.

You don’t need to have any prior experience in Looker Studio, but you should come equipped with knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console (and ideally Google Ads) as we will primarily be working with data from these tools.
