Since its launch in 2008, SMX Munich has been a synonym for the most comprehensive conference on search marketing and has become a must-attend event for online marketers. What sets SMX apart from other event offerings is that the producers are not an agency or tool provider but a neutral editorial team. Each of the over 60 sessions is carefully curated on a focused topic. No generic marketing sessions! Conference Chair, Sandra Finlay, Advisory Board Chair, Alexander Holl and the advisory board members work for an entire year to create the program.

The result is a blend of concentrated local knowledge and international expertise. Approximately half of the sessions are held in English. With over 70 speakers, SMX Munich is the most important event in the DACH search industry, where top international experts gather once a year to exchange knowledge with local experts.

Attendees come for knowledge, networking, and inspiration. Participants come from renowned companies, SMEs, agencies, or work as consultants. Virtually every industry is represented, both B2B and B2C, making the networking all the more exciting. The exchange of views with like-minded individuals is guaranteed, as is the opportunity to broaden one’s horizons. To make networking and your overall stay as enjoyable as possible, we place great importance on our catering. Since 2023, we offer a fully vegetarian and vegan dining experience.
