In his role as VP Creative at Distilled, Mark set up and grew one of the most respected content teams in search marketing and digital PR, creating some of the most well known campaigns in the industry. The content mark has been responsible for over the years has received over 38,000 pieces of online coverage and 2.8 million social shares. The slides from his presentation, how to produce better content ideas, have been viewed over 4.3 million times.

When Mark was setting out in the industry, there were very few leading the way on the creative side of things, so he had to look elsewhere for insight and inspiration. Turning to the worlds of advertising and data visualisation, he learned how to come up with innovative ideas and how to craft clear, compelling stories out of data.

After he left Distilled, several agencies and brands got in touch to ask if he could help develop their content teams. He then spent the next 5 years training and coaching teams through the creative process.

In the last couple of years, he has found his way back to doing what he does best – creating content campaigns that stand out online. He is very passionate about not only creating content that gets coverage, but ensuring that content also delivers the right message to the right audience. Content that makes the right connections.
